Sound familiar?

The books are done. The questions still aren't answered.

Sales are growing, but it's hard to tell where the profit is going.

Cash is tight some months and there's no warning when it's coming.

The bank asks for numbers and covenant tests, and pulling them together takes weeks.

Your bookkeeper records the past. Nobody is planning the next 12 months.

A loan, a new location, an acquisition, or a sale is on the horizon.

You run more than one business and can't see them side by side.

About Rick Nold

Both sides of the table.

As a commercial banking Vice President at TD Bank and Merchants Bank, Rick worked with owner-led businesses on their financing, and learned exactly what a lender needs to see to say yes.

He then built an Interstate Batteries distributorship to six locations across New England and Florida, and today he owns and operates service businesses in Chittenden County, Vermont.

He brings a lender's discipline and an owner's perspective: clear numbers, candid advice, and a plan you can act on.

Is this a fit?

Built for owner-led businesses

A good fit

  • $1M–$20M in revenue, with a bookkeeper or outside accountant already in place
  • Bank debt, a line of credit, or financing on the horizon
  • Multiple locations, service lines, or businesses to compare
  • An owner who wants a monthly conversation about the numbers, not a stack of reports

Probably not yet

  • Books more than a few months behind and nobody to keep them current
  • Looking for tax preparation or bookkeeping rather than a CFO
  • Need a full-time, on-site finance leader today

Let's talk about your numbers.

A free 30-minute introductory call. No pitch deck, no obligation. Bring last year's P&L if you have it handy.
